For anyone with an adventurous side and a desire to
experience and learn about a fascinating culture, do not
miss the opportunity to go to Peru with Mundo Verde Spanish
school. The people of Peru are very welcoming, the food is
great, and the history is almost overwhelming. The staff at
Mundo Verde was excellent, and the education is very
individually tailored. Pablo and the rest of the staff went
out of their way to ensure a good experience. I did not know
more than few words of Spanish before arriving in Cusco, and
now I am able to converse with my Spanish-speaking patients
in the hospital. The trips that Pablo has planned are
amazing. There is nothing bad that I can say about this
program. Thank you to Pablo and the rest of the staff at
Mundo Verde for inviting me to experience your culture, food,
language, and history with open arms. Cusco will always
remain a special place to me.

Mundo Verde is a well-organised company run by a
motivated team of individuals that create opportunities for
students from all over the world. They have vast connections
within the Peruvian tourism trade and are able to organise
excursions that are fulfilling and exciting. In addition
their connections to universities and hospitals allow
students to have real, valuable experiences in an unfamiliar
medical environment. The fact that it is run by native
Peruvians is greatly beneficial as they have great knowledge
of this fascinating country. Their integrated Spanish school
allows rapid involvement in all activities.
Their conservation work in the jungle is an equally exciting
incentive and Pablo and his team have done so much already
to create their haven in the jungle where students can
safely experience the sights and creatures of the Amazon.
My personal experience with Mundo Verde was very fulfilling.
I was able to spend 2 months exploring Cusco and the sacred
valley. The Spanish tuition helped me to get in touch with
the Peruvian lifestyle and meet many different people.
It is for the reasons mentioned that I have no hesitation in
recommending Mundo Verde to you in the highest possible
terms.

I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of
Pablo Miranda Jiménez of the Mundo Verde Spanish school on
Cusco, Peru. I took one-on-one language classes at Mundo
Verde for six weeks in the summer of 2004. Pablo and his
staff were extremely professional, and more than
accommodating in terms of meeting both my needs as a student
and the needs of my family. Pablo was an excellent Spanish
teacher. Under his tutelage, and that of his staff, my
Spanish language skills improved exponentially. They met me
at my level, and challenged me to push the limits of my
abilities. Pablo also maintained a fine balance between
being willing and able to use English when it was absolutely
necessary to explain a particular concept and insisting on
conducting the vast majority of our lessons solely in
Spanish. He also maintained a good balance between exercises,
drills, free conversation, and reading from interesting
books that I had bought in the shops around Cusco. While
attending his school I was able to successfully read an
entire book on Incan history and culture.
Pablo also went far beyond what other Spanish schools would
have done in terms of accommodating the needs of my family.
I traveled to Peru with my wife, who was involved in a
research project, and our five month old daughter. Before we
arrived, Pablo found us a furnished apartment to rent in
Cusco, and also found us a cook and a driver, whose car had
seatbelts that we could use to install an infant’s car seat
in the back seat. Pablo also helped us to set up an internet
connection in the apartment for my wife, found her
translators to assist in conducting fieldwork, and made it
possible for me to bring my daughter to class with me. The
atmosphere at his school was relaxed, and, at the same time,
completely professional, which was the perfect combination
for me at the time.
Finally, I liked the school because of their philosophy of
using language training as a way to raise money and
resources for environmental education projects in the Amazon
region. I thought that he did an excellent job of melding
his environmental consciousness and his skills as a natural
educator.
I would not hesitate to highly recommend Pablo Miranda
Jiménez or the Mundo Verde Spanish School to anyone who is
looking to study Spanish or something else in Peru. Please
feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would
like additional information regarding my experience with
Pablo Miranda Jiménez and the Mundo Verde language school.
